Can you tell us what says that earlier TT's only are supported?
With reference to the Camera Database, all TT's that use OV2 Files are supported.

Not sure the original question has been fully answered yet so here goes.
The files are the same for all Tom Tom products - so Navigator 5 uses the same as 1, 2, 3 and the Go range.
To get them you first have to subscribe. £2 per month or £19 per year. You will then see on the left of the screen a members area, below which says speed cameras. Click on that and up will come another screen. If you scroll down you will find a list of products including Tom Tom. Click on your one and up will come a full list of instructions about how to download and install.
