I've been looking around my recently aquired Mio P350 and notice when going to Start - Settings - System, there is an Icon for GPS. Selecting it, then the Access tab, shows 'Manage GPS automatically (recommended)'. It's unticked at the moment, is there any advantages/disadvantages of 'ticking' this option?
On my Mio 168 I used Windfast Navigator and found GLL and MSS were set to zero. Someone here recommended they be set to 2 (i.e. half a second) and I found there was an improvement.
My P350 also have these settings at zero. I didn't mind messing with the 168 because I knew I was replacing it but I'm hesitant with a two day old device.
Could anyone put my mind at rest please? Thanks. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

GLL and MSS are irrelevant. They don't do harm, either , though.
The checkbox can stay unchecked unless you want to run multiple GPS programs in parallel. _________________ Lutz
