Knowing the what the alerts mean

Just used my Nuvi with the PGPSW speed zoned camera database installed for the first time.

It appeared that the Nuvi beeped and told me the speed restriction each time I approached a red light camera. Is this right? Only I couldn't see any speed cameras and the only icon I saw was the red light icon? If it is right can I change it all? Only it was kinda freaking me out a bit - scaring me that I was about to have my picture taken.

Also, with the speed zoned database is it the case that you only get told about cameras if you are going over the speed limit? Is there any way of changing this so that you are told about every speed camera regardless of the speed you're doing? Only I'm not sure I'm as confident about the speed zones being as up to date as the physical cameras. I would however still like to be told what the speed limit is 'thought' to be as sometime when you're driving along in an unknown place you've not got a clue, so any advice is greatfully received.
