Hello,

I'm trying to create an itinerary that starts at a point different from the current position. I did that by creating a .ITN file (with POI Edit) with all the places I want to visit or pass by.

Now here's my problem: I also created a "return itinerary", and I would like to check that itinerary in TomTom for any issues. But TomTom insists in navigating from the current position, so the route always shows the path from where I am, to the place where I'm going, and then the actual route that I created (the return itinerary).

How can I show a route that only has the FROM and the TO points, no matter where I am at the present time?

Best regards,
Norberto

Just to make a small correction: I want to have the FROM and TO points, as well as any intermediate point that I set up in my itinerary. What I don't want is TomTom to start navigating always from my current GPS location instead of my first place on my itinerary.

You will need to have the TT located where it can't get a GPS Signal.

Then select Advance Planning A-B. Use the Start Point in your Itinerary as the Departure point. Then set the Destination as being a few hundred yards away.

When the Route is calculated, Tap Details then Show Route Demo. Choose 100% for Demo Speed and Press Done.

After the Voice Guidance says Starting Demo, Tap the Screen then YES, to stop Demo.

Clear the Route, go into Itinerary Planning, select the Route and Done. Yes to Navigate There Now.

Thank you very much for that nice trick. It really did what I needed.
