Version 5 ?

I started using ViaMichelin at version 2.5, then along came version 3 which was free so I upgraded, but I was so disappointed with the so-called "improvements" that I reverted back to 2.5

Then along came version 4, which wasn't free, and simply didn't seem to be worth it, especially as I'm relatively satisfied with my 2.5. I figured that if I had to start again by re-buying a whole new package, I'd be better off switching to Tom-Tom.

I haven't done that yet, although it's still a possibility, but I'm wondering if there's a VM version 5 coming along. The shifts from version 2 to 3 to 4 all happened in a very short time, so on that schedule version 5 should be just about ready.

There's one major failing of VM which I'd really like to see put right, and that's the lack of way points. If this were to be resolved in the next version then I'd jump at it. If I'm simply going from A to B and want to get there the shortest or the fastest way possible, then there's no problem, but it often happens that I want to force a particular route via an intermediate point, and that can't be done.

Does anyone have any information on future developments of VM ? Does anyone have any other improvements they'd like to see incorporated ? I mean real new features, and preferably without the loss of old ones !
