Due to someone messing around with a new unit I have been left the task to sort it out, can anyone confirm for me whether there is a setup disk which has the maps for the uk along with the file for the voices as the dvd I have been given dosen't seem to have them on.

The maps are pre-installed on the 510 internal memory.You do not get a disk with the maps on as a backup.The maps should be copied to the pc hard drive as a backup source.Sounds like its too late in your case.I would imagine that its back to Garmin with it.

Many thanks, It seems the person who thought they would add more maps deleted the uk one's from the internal memory but some how manage to back them up onto a sd card along with the other maps, lucky for them. I guess the next thing to do is backup the sd card.
