TomTom GO speed camera warning system

I need some help on how i could make my tomtom warn me constantly untill i reach the camera because i have my music loud and sometimes miss the first warning would love it if i could get the same system as my garmin i3.. thanks

First of all pay attention to the speed limit then it won't matter that much, secondly turn the volume down a little bit on the ICE.

You could always make up your own data.chk file that will play continuous alerts by messing around with the POIExtend utility you will also need to work out how long you want the alert to play for, and set the warnings relative to time in seconds (not distance), convert the distance to time so at 70MPH, 30 seconds equals 1027 yards, for example (there is a look up table posted within this page for the various speeds/ times against distance

To modify the warnings you will need audio files in the OGG format, there are loads of freeware applications avail that will convert/ deal with this file type - a few ideas, thats all I can offer as it will not replicate the funtionality of the Garmin - Mike

Surely if you are partially deaf, you should have your music on QUIETER, so that you can hear what is going on around you properly? Or are ambulance sirens and warning horns not important to you?
