I have Garmin i2 I want to use it in the States. Now I think that I can get a CD map for this. But I want to know if I need to use a new microChip that you slide in the side, to load it on, or can I just load this as well as the map I have at the moment, all on the same chip.

you'll need a seperate transflash / micro sd card to load the new map data onto else you risk losing your original maps!

Peter,
My suggestion would be to stay here. It's far simpler and you won't put on as much weight 8)
