Help me!!! My phone's wiped my TomTom!!!

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I've been having the same problem as lots of people with losing the bluetooth connection between the TomTom BT GPS unit and the N70 but I thought I could put up with this so I didn't do anything about it.
However, tonight I came to use the TomTom software on my phone and, as I was opening the application the phone turned itself off. When I had turned it on again and went back into the TomTom screen I couldn't find any addresses at all, it's as if all of the places and maps have been wiped off the memory card. I'm not impressed!!!
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do next. I've tried updated the software on the memory card from the TomTom website but this hasn't helped. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
