Now i was under the impression that the i3 warned of Speed Camera (and all proximity) POIs when you where in "range" as it where. Obviously depending on your settings. I also believed that the i3 didn't have any sort of "on route" function so it would alert you to cameras down side streets and on near by roads.
However I've noticed something.
If i go down a particular road with NAVIGATION ON then it doesn't seem to warn me about cameras that are "off route".
If i go down the same road with MAPPING ON then it warns me of loads of cameras "off route".
Is this normal? |

Yes its normal if you are within the range setting for the camera and exceding any speed setting then its going to bing and bong.
Never been a problem for me but any one in a city could have it going off all the time |

I wish they would enable the edit function to be allowed another thing that happens when the unit is just left on the menu (not navigating or in map view) is that the warnings still occur and are displayed on the screen in a text box. |
