What size mem card is needed

I am running a IPAQ Rz 1710 with up-dated software Tom Tom 5 with a 128mb memory card installed. :D

I would like to install the French street maps as well that came with the update Tom Tom 5. My question is what size Memory card and what speed should I get so it will hold the UK and French maps so I can plot a course from say my front door to a place in France.

Will the HP IPAQ Rz 1710 be able to cope???

TTN5.21 with GB Maps, full postcodes, France plus maps, Speed Camera Database and 7.55MB eBackup of Pocket PC, use 469MB, so a 512MB Card would be OK.

However, you can get a Kingston 1GB SD Ultimate x133 (actual read/write speed 20x) from http://www.choicestationery.com/acatalog/Secured_Digital.html for £31.62.

There is an improvement using the 20x card over a standard 4x.
