Hi all,
Being new to this forum its hard to get an overview of everything :-) I have tried (through search) for an hour to find the answer to my question, which is this.
I have a Garmin 2610 and I find that planning routes on Autoroute 2006 is much easier.
How can I can transfer my route to garmin??
Even though I am pretty nurdy with computers I think that I will need a step-by-step explanation :-) i.e. I know my autoroute generates axe files, but what the garmin generates is beyond me ;-) |

Never heard of a method to transfer routes from AutoRoute to a Garmin!
I would have thought that nothing can compare with MapSource and CitySelect/CityNavigator/MetroGuide.
Your idividual choices match the software on the PC and the units ie I use 'truck' settings on both the PC and iQue 3600 and GPSMAP 60CSx for my trips with a caravan.
The ability to work at the route on the PC with the latest version of Mapsource and then transfer to the 60CSx is so easy. |

You can use ITNConv.exe to convert Autoroute .axe files into a Tom Tom Itinery but I don't know if you can load that into a Garmin _________________ Charlie Gregory
