|
|
Hi All
I have recently purchased a TT 510 and all seems to be working fine with it.
As standard, it comes with a 256mb SD card but it does not leave a lot of room for extra voices and POI's.
I was just wondering if I could legally transfer everything from this 256mb card to a bigger card (1gb)?

Also, is it easy enough to do?
Is it just a case of copying all the files?

Yes it is easy, create a folder on the PC to put all the files / folders etc in to. make sure you have "Show hidden files" enabled in Wndows Explorer/ tools/ folder options view tab.
Copy the entire card to the PC's hard drive in the new folder you just created (this will also serve as a back-up), insert the new card to the reader and copy the new folders contents back to the new card, make sure you maintain the file structure in terms of folders in the root of the SD card though and it will work no problems - Mike |
