completely shameless GPS newbie questions!!

hello everyone...

i have found forums like this invaluable in the past when i dont know how to do things with new gadgets!! so i hope someone out there can help!

so i just bought a garmin streetpilot i3. i bought it in the UK and it is the model where the UK street maps are pre-loaded into the machine and it didnt come with a memory card. I have a few questions regarding my new streetpilot...

1. i loaded some POI's into the unit but now have no need for some of them and need more room, is there a way to delete POI's off my unit? I tried reseting the unit but the POI's were still there after the reset.

2. if i buy a blank memory card for my unit does that mean i will have more room to store POI's or are memory cards just used for other maps?

3. i travel to canada a lot. i want to use my streetpilot in canada but i am very very confused as to how i would make this possible and the garmin instructions and website provide no help. i understand i would have to purchase a memory card with either north american or canadian maps on it... but who sells these in the UK? Is there any way of just getting a map of ontario in canada as i wont be travelling outside that province?

4. the instructions with the unit provide no help as to how to use memory cards or how to install new maps for places other than the UK. This is very dissapointing. can anyone point me in the right direction to find help regarding how to install further maps onto my unit?

Ok i have sorted out the deleting POI problem...

now i was just wondering if anyone could offer me any advice on getting hold of a map of canada for my street pilot i3...

Sorry I can't give you any help, but I think you'll have more success if you post in a Garmin specific forum.
