|
|
I have just loaded the SpeedCam database onto my Garmin i3, and it now correctly tells me when there is a camera up ahead. But it tells me it's a 19mph speed limit when I'm in a 30mph zone, and beeps at me to slow down to 19mph! The same happens in a 40mph zone, except this time the alert says to slow down to 25mph. What do I need to do?
Bewildered beginner. |

You have loaded an imperial database with the i3 set to metric units or vice versa (it's too late to work it out!). Reload with the right settings and all will be well |

This has been covered numerous times never the less here goes,
Ensure the I3 is set to Statute in the preferences now using POILoader ensure this is set to Feet / MPH download the poi's again and normal service will be resumed. |

Hi Timber and Saudidave
Thanks ever so much for your replies. I've found both settings on the i3 and POI loader and now rectified the problem!
Grateful Beginner. |
