|
|
Can someone please advise what sub-directories and files they have in the root directory of a card with Mobile 5 on it.
I've copied the files (via pc/card reader) from the supplied SD card onto the RSMMC for my Nokia 6680.
According to the TomTom guide you simply insert the card into the phone, which recognises the software and comes up with a TomTom icon that you use to start up.
Problem is I am not getting the icon (anywhere - let alone on the menu page where it should be).
Using the phones file manager I can navigate the directories on the card, so the phone can read it, but it's not picking up the software.
Shuld there be an .exe (or autorun file) in the root directory - hence the request to see what files/directories others have (in case I've somehow managed to delete something important)
Thanks in advance |

Alix776,
Thanks for that, but already had explorer set to show hidden/system files.
In the root directory of the card there are only sub-directories which are named:
2577
Great_Britain-Map
itn
Licences
raster
schemes
TomTom
voices
zip
Is this what others have.
The strange thing to me is that there are no executable (.exe, .bat etc) files in the root directory. Is this correct
Thanks for any further help |

Managed to resolve it in the end. Installed update from TT website:
http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?FID=3571&Language=1
This seemed to be for recent additions to the compatability list (one of which is the 6680).
Hope this helps others
