Possible Issue with IPAQ Backup and New Tom Tom GPS Driver

This could be just co-incidence but I have noticed that with the 2.08 GPS driver installed on My IPAQ 2210 it is not possible to restore from a back up. I have tried restoring from both the PC and the lIPAQ and in both cases the IPAQ crashes on reset.
I have managed to restore back up copies made before installing the driver software i.e. with the Tom Tom software (City Maps Europe) and no GPS driver installed. I have emailed TomTom for advice.
Has anyone else noticed this as an issue?

This is quite possible because the driver is permanently open all the time in RAM. In theory it's probably backing it up, but you may not just be able to restore it, before attempting a restore, make sure that in REMOVE PROGRAMS there isn't a TomTom ~ GPS. If there is, remove it, soft reset, then perform a restore.
