I leave right near a complicate motorway junction, and my TT One seems to think I can get on to the motorway by doing a few hundred yards up the dual carriage way A road and doing a U turn. Well I can, if I break the law and risk my life!
The trouble is, this is the starting point for every journey I do and is getting irritating! What is the best way around this? I find I'm having to re-route every journey. |

Apart from reporting it as a map error, and waiting (possibly years) for it to be changed in a future map version - not a lot, I'm afraid.
I find that in my area, the mapping of the actual roads is OK but there are many examples like this where it thinks you can do illegal right turns or u-turns, and go the wrong way up one-way streets or through blocked off roads. |

Force it to go the correct way by adding a "via" to the route, it might even be worth creating a custom POI with the name AAA (so it displays at the top of the stack when you select the Via then POI) - not ideal but a possible way forwards, as Andy said you can't really do much about the map, so learn to find a quick work around - Mike |
