I want to use a 2GB card in my ICN520,
Is anyone actually using one and does it work, I have been told by Navman that the largest the 520 will use is a 1GB , but I am sceptical of anything they say. Great unit but terriable support. |

I'm sure I read that in one of the Navman "Resellers" forum they had said they didn't forsee a problem with a 2Gb SD Card provided it was high speed.
Evidently the Western Europe map colection comes to over 1Gb, as does the American Map suite. American users evidently have used 2Gb Ok, and they said there should be no reason why the european shouldn't behave the same way. |

I know it's been a while since this thread was last used, but I was wondering what speed of 2GB card you used. I don't want to pay for more than is necessary. Currently have a 1GB 133x Kingston but would like to get the 2Gb to get all the maps on. The 2GB version of the Ultimate card is £70 yet I can get a 50x card for half that. What works?
Thanks in anticipation,
Dave |
