I read this on navman's website:

"What’s more, the optional Traffic Module for the iCN 530 and iCN 550 delivers real-time traffic updates to your Navman, so you can avoid any problems and re-route your journey as needed."

In the webshop, it says "iCN 550 only, will not work for any other navman device".

So what does this mean? Does it work for iCN 530 too?

No, they use different modules. The iCN530 shares the T1 Traffic Module with the iCN7xx series. The module for the iCN550 is not compatible.

Really? There is on their UK website. I have to confess that I haven't looked at the others. Have a look here at the top two units.

There is no iCN7xx in the webshop, only under "products", so I don't know where to find this T1 module to buy or to find info about it. Altavista doesn't know anything called T1 Traffic Pack.

No, I don't have a T1. There will be a review here when we get hold of one.

Been in contact with Navman and was told that the T1 module is due at the end of June and will retail at £129 GBP. Found a website in Germany advertising for 95€ EUR, but don't have stock yet.

Reviews I have seen on the traffic module for the 550 suggest that you have a metre of cable on your dash to get reception (essentially an FM radio receiver to get the RDS signal) - can't wait to see the reviews on the T1 module!.

Have seen some literature for the iCN 530 that metions a P1 module - any ideas?
