Difference between standard and plus maps?

I have a plus UK map and standard France map because my SD card is only 512mb. What am I missing on France? Do they both carry campsites and petrol station pois? The France map is v571 and the uk one is v562, should I upgrade?

You are missing nothing, the PLUS map contains the Major Roads of Europe in addition to the street level maps of the country, the non PLUS map just contains the full road map to street level of the specific country without the major roads of Europe (other countries) - POI's can be added in as required for either map - Mike

Are the main poi's available when you load maps or is it all done by cutting and paste?
