I believe you have to accept the time of day from the satellite. I don't think that the ICN 5xx has an internal clock

But you can alter the hour offset under Preferences, More Preferences, Measurements.

The time comes from the GPS. Is yours not setting?

it is showing time but for some reason it is not correct time.it used to be correct then for some reason it is now not correct

same outcome whether i have a gps signal or not.this is a new unit 3 months ago which was changed under warranty for defective previous unit but warranty is now not valid.

If the unit is only 3 months old, I would have thought you still have recourse to the seller. Try asking them to check the time setting - if that's possible and if they can't do it ask for a replacement.

the unit was a replacement direct from navman.it was ok then went kaput.

Just to narrow it down some more, do you have a route set and from which page (map screen or Measurements) are you reading the time?

time is incorrect with route in or not.reading time from bottom of screen when unit is on if that is what you mean.i think i will email navman to see what they say .

Can you see what the time says on the Measurements page, to the right of the Offset time?
