Hello,

I dont really use TT5 all the time and my units (iPAQ 5455) battery is almost dead, so Im always charging it. The other day I went to use it and the battery was so low that is almost hard reset. Just in case this happens when Im on the road I want to be able to install TT5 from the Sd Card.

So I wanted to know what folders do I need to put on my SD Card to install TT5 from my SD Card.

You need to put a folder on the SD card and place into it the CAB files, make sure the CAB files are set to read only or they may self delete when you execute them, there are a number of posts explaining how to create the CAB files within the forums, have a read through http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=28171&start=0 this should get you the information you need - Mike

Or you could download Sunnysoft backup manager and backup your PDA onto your storage card as a self extracting exe file. Then you can just run it after an hard reset and it restores your PDA including TomTom and away you go. 8)

Another alternative is to buy Sprite Backup. As you already own an iPAQ, the Premium edition is available at the discounted price of $10 (this is because the iPAQ already has a rudimentary form of Sprite, but not a version which will allow you to create a self-extracting file on your storage card)
