Hi people.
Has anyone had any issues with tt5 on 1gig sd card.Ive copied my software off the origonal sd card which i have the license for (dont know whether this is legal, but its only me using it).The problem i have is that the screen scrolls v.slowly.Is it possibly because the cards too big & tt has to search further to read the map? It seems most people on here are running 512 cards ,is it for this reason.Soz for the long winded script but i,ve just got a new xda exec+tt b/tooth receiver for my birthday & would love for it all to work properley!!!
Many thanks in advance.

The size of the card is not a problem. It is more a question of the card speed, and how good the SD card driver cooperates with the card.
I am running it on a 2GB card, on a iPAQ 6315 with 168 MHz, and I still get my four frames per second.
How many POIs are you displaying? _________________ Lutz

You don't need to display the cameras to be warned ... try to switch the display of those categories off and use just the "warn near" function
Did you get the safety cameras from our site? If not, did you run them through makeov2 ? _________________ Lutz

Hi,
Yes the camera database came from here and the rest from poi edit.Am i right in sayin g that when you install tt from sd thats it,you dont then have to move/transfer any files around.I,m saying this because i had the same problem on my xda2.Its just a case of plug the card in and it installs itself.
Dont know what you mean about make ov2? _________________ XDA EXEC.TOMTOM BLUETOOTH.1GB SD
