Nuvi STRANGE ROUTES

Hi Folks,

I know this as been mentioned before, just wondering if anybody knows the answer to improve the NUVI. I'm using the Nuvi 300.

Put a route in the other day from B64 7EP to HP111HE its ok until it leaves the M40 at Junction 4, it then takes the 6th Exit and sends you down Winchbottom Lane which is a single track road. When it could go A404 - A40 straight to destination.

If the same route is entered into the TomTom One, it uses the A40 route.

I've tried shortest, fastest, Truck, Car, Avoidances on and off. The Truck route is even more amazing.

Garmin released 3.30 for the Nuvi 300 and 350 (free download from Garmin.com) which includes Vehicle Selection amongst many other improvements

Left my Nuvi in the office over the weekend, so will let you know next week if an improvement

Just tried the route you mentioned and the update makes no difference, still routes you down Winchbottom Lane
