Can someone help me please? I have just purchased a Garmin Nuvi 300 - went to the Garmin website to download the Garmin Web Updater software. (Have turned off my anti-virus) - the icon is placed on my desktop but when I double-click to run it, nothing happens! Have tried this several times with the same result - would be very grateful if someone could help me on this! Have cleared out my temporary internet files - don't know what else to do... |

Delete the icon on your desktop don't understand how this is here as the installation on my computer did not put a icon here
Download http://www.garmin.com/software/WebUpdater_232.exe
save to a directory of your choice say c:\temp
From directory c:\temp select WebUpdater_232 and install to your system just allow the defaults to be used as provided.
Now following installation select from the programs list on your computer
WebUpdater what happens now
Lets know how you get on must be something simple thats wrong |

Thanks Timber - it worked! Not sure what happened previously - maybe the link I was trying to download from was faulty.
