I am sure this is a daft question but then it comes from a daft person.
I have TT Navigator 6 with a wide range of maps generally in the following categories.
Country
Country plus major routes of Western Europe
Western Europe.
My question is this do I get more detail on the GB maps of roads in the GB than on the Map of Western Europe or is the detail the same?
What I am trying to decide is there any advantage, with regards to roads in GB, of having the GB map on my PDA as well as Western Europe?

If the Western Europe map is just under 1Gb in size then the Country map will probably have more detail as the 1Gb map had certain 'lesser' detail removed to make it fit onto a 1Gb memory card. If the WE map is around 1.5Gb then they will probably have the same detail.

The detail is exactly the same. So the answer is no, there is no advantage in terms of the number of roads available.
Howeer it make might it easier when searching for city centres etc to only have those in the UK listed. |

The Western European Map doesn't include Poland and the Czech Republic. This enables it to fit on a 1GB Card.

It took more than the exclusion of Pl and Cz to enable it to fit onto a 1Gb card.
