Hi, I am new to Sat Nav equipment and need some advice on choosing the right model for me, first off I live in Luxembourg and will needs maps of Benelux (which normally come as standard) but also will need France and Germany plus the UK. I notice some maps contain "Major Roads" and other are more complete, I would prefer a more complete map, so I did thought about the Tom Tom Go 300, it comes with Benelux maps and I would then have to buy more maps and memory card, so would it be more economical to buy a TomTom with all these maps or isn't that possible? maybe the Tom Tom 710?
Any advice would be most welcome, thanks.

The 710 looks the right one for you because you get

Don't know what it like in Luxemburg but at the moment all of the shops are selling off the old TT700 at cheap prices - that has the whole of western Europe as one map on its hard disc - so you can navigate door to door across counties. If you buy map of your country and then add other countries you cant navigate between points on different maps.

Hi, thanks for the info, I have seen the Go 700 for 549€ (£395) and the Go 710 for 579€ (£415) so I just have to make my mind up, maybe the Go 700 with hard disc would be better when crossing borders, thanks again.
