micro sd memory card

Hi all
I am new to all this so here goes-
I know and understand how to download speed cameras and points of interest and install them to my Garmin i3.
My question is this, If I put a micro sd card in the unit (mine didn't come with one originally) will my downloaded poi's and speed camera database automatically load onto the micro sd card?
If not, then how do I do it?
I cannot find the answer to this question in a straight yes or no.
