hey all.
i have the medion MD 96800, i know it is the wrong choice of device to have, but its my dads, and he aquired it.
Anyways, im off to america in a few weeks, and have got a few maps for the device from my friend with the area we are going, the west coast, (california and nivarda).
i have tried putting the .map file in the same directory as the british isles map already installed. the first time i tried to change the map to the west coast map, the device said that the map is over a year old and usually roads change around 15% or summet. so i pressed the arrow button to select ok, but nothing happened.
so now, every time i try and select that map, it says "unable to open the selected map, please select another map.
the actual .map file was created on the 30th March 2005.
does anyone please know how to get this map to work, as i am really desperate.
