Could somebody please take a photo of the screen mount from the side as it would be in use. I would want to mount one onto the dash in a cubby hole, and can't get my head around how the new mount works / is oriented from the few pics I've been able to find.
If anybody has any good ideas how this might be done, speak up.

Orientation doesn't really matter, it is a ball joint that can be rotated pretty much in any direction. Cubby hole sounds like a good idea, but may be too low in your field of vision. _________________ Lutz

My confusion is that in pics, the protruberance seems to point up on the desk mount, but out horizontally on the screen mount.

When placed in the desk mount the device looks up , at a 45 degree angle. If you put the screen horizontally then the suction mount base points not down, but 25 degrees to the side. of course the ball joint can compensate that however you wish. _________________ Lutz
