Quest battery operation

Just got the Quest today for my Harley. Noticed the screen dims significantly when in battery mode. How do I keep the screen "bright" when running on battery? Thanks, in advance.

Hi and

Press the power button once and you will get a popup window that allows you to adjust the screen brightness using the left and right rocker pad.

You can also go into the system settings and set the backlight timeout so it switches off after a certain amount of time. When you approach a turn, the backlight comes on again and then switches off after a while.

If you run it on external power then the backlight will stay on all the time.
