I've read in one review that folding away the antenna turns off the GPS.
Can anyone confirm this and is so can the gps be turned back on with the antenna in this position?
Imagine my senario, I would want to listen to the voice commands through headphones with the Nuvi tucked away in my pocket (pedestrian/cycling use) |

yes the antenae will point straight up but if it is closed there is not way to turn the gps back on - at least on the nuvi 300 - i presume it'll be the same on the 310
