hi to everyone i wonder if anyone can tell me where to find the data.chk file on a ipaq kind regards graham

It is in the program files/ navigator folder on the PDA, if you are thinking of "swapping" it make sure the version you are putting on the device is to the correct version and build number then re-name the original to Old_data using file explorer (tap and hold method from the pop-up box select re-name) then "paste" the new one into the same folder as above. Perform a soft reset of the device and configure the warnings to your requirements - Mike
