I've just changed my mobile phone to one which isn't compatible with my TTG300 (the traffic data wasn't very reliable anyway). Does anyone know how to:
a) Remove the traffic display from the right hand side of the Tom Tom screen - I keep getting informed of last month's traffic problems!
b) Unpair my TomTom from my old mobile phone (the Mobile Phone icon is greyed out) |

No - this suggestion doesn't work. If I select "TomTom Traffic", I get a screen saying "To enable TomTom Services you need an account ... Do you want to continue?" if i select Yes, I am prompted to enter my user name. Because I don't have a compatible phone any longer, this gets me nowhere!
On the screen I still see the traffic bar on the right hand side, and the red cross in the top corner. I can disable bluetooth on the TTG to stop it trying to access traffic details at regular intervals, but on certain routes I still see traffic incidents displayed from the last time I successfully connected.[/quote] |

that's indeed a tricky one. the only thing I can think of is to delete the .cfg file, or use the "Reset to defaults" button in the menu. You will lose all your other settings though. _________________ Lutz

Cheers - the Reset Factory Options suggestions has worked. The only minor issue left is that the Mobile Phone icon is still greyed out, but as my new phone is incompatible and I've got an 18-month contract, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it! |
