Am i right in assuming that the external aerial for the x10 models is the same one as used for the TomTom ONE model. |

Yes it is,
You should not need one for almost all applications, due to the sirfstar3 chipset, but if you do just use a TTone version

OK after a couple of days trying it out, my findings are that in the middle of the windscreen it takes a while to get a fix but once it has it then it is fine- wall to wall sats. But it does seem to take a while in the first instance.
The external antennas are in Halfords for 19.99, i snagged one off a dealer on fleabay for 4.99 +p&p so i thought well why not. |
