Could you help me please, Will tom-tom 5: run on the o2 Xda 2s, I have just found out that after buying the Xda11i, that tom-tom will not work on it, ( It locks up ) o2 told me it would work, so they are willing to exchange it for the 2s

Welcome to the forums, TomTom Navigator will run on either devices perfectly well, I have the IIs and its fine on this device, just make sure you don't load the O2 Active interface, when you first switch the unit on and and boots up sit with the device and wait until you are asked to chose between Personal or Corporate mode.
Select Corporate mode and enter the code 0506 this prevents the O2 Active interface from loading to the device.

The above advice is true for either of the devices you mention, but I suspect you will get a more sepecific answer to setting up the XDAIIi in the next couple of hours Wink - Mike

as mike has said get rid of the o2 active interfarce also make sure the processor is on turbo mode

some users of the forum have had sd card problems and recomend a transend x80 sd card personally ive not had this problem

also make sure you use a bluetooth receiver as some xda2is can have problems connecting to a wired gps receiver it a device issue really due to a manufacture process change to the serial port at the bottom of the device other than that it works fine the only thing to remeber is if you have gprs (internet connection) runnnig and you receive a voice call then after the call the device wont reconnect to gprs then put the machine in flight mode then come out of flight mode and it should reconnect hope this helps abit
