Can anyone tell me how to plan a route using the 'via' function on the C310. I have just updated to software V5.10 which states that this can be done but I cannot find out how. |

Pick your Destination as normal then Press Go.
Wait until The route is Calculated Then Press Where To Again.
Pick Your Via Point. Then Press Go. The Unit Will Ask If You Want To Go to This Destination Via Your Original Deastination. Press O.K. |

Thanks Tony, I can stop tearing me hair out now. Though I'm impressed with the garmin c310's speed, a comprehensive manual and not being sent up back roads would make it less frustrating to use! |

Thanks Paul. I've tried all the permutations for route planning and vehicle choices but still get 'as the crow flies' back road routes. As you say no mention of 'via' in the manual downloaded from Garmin, makes me wonder if there's other things me little gar is hiding! |

So you haven't found the Satellite TV receiver with all 215 unlocked channels? The Death Ray? Radar Guided Cruise Control? Bagel Warmer? |
