|
|
This is my 1st post so hello to you all :D .
I just paid my subscription and downloaded the speedcamera database. I used easygps to install it but it's installed it in my favourites, rather than custom poi's. I then downloaded the speed camera database to use with the proper garmin loader (which works great) but now don't seem to be able to delete the thousands of cameras installed in my favourites using easygps.
It just says "favourites full" on my I3 screen. I did a search on the forums but can't find any help on the subject.
Any advice would be very welcome

Do you have anything in your favourites that you want to keep?
If not, then a hard reset should clear them. |

I've got a few things in my favourites but it wouldn't take long to get them back on.
Would I have to re-install my POI's as well?
How do I do a hard reset? Is there another program than can do it, as easygps doesn't seem to overwrite waypoints, just add to them?
Thanks for your quick response. |

You can delete them individually on the i3 by selecting one via a 'where to' search and then scrolling down to 'delete'. However, that will take you a while as I think there is the capacity for 500 Favourites. The alternative is a hard reset having saved the Favourites you want to retain using easyGPS, you'll then need to upload your Favourites and custom POIs again.
To do a hard reset start the i3 pressing down both buttons and the scroll wheel and then follow the prompts. _________________ Chas

My mistake, custom POIs will be retained. _________________ Chas

The POI's were all still there as you said bumpkin.
