Is anyone using this? My phone isn't compatible yet. I dont think it involves maps, just directions, but it certainly looks cheap. It even suggests your GPRS charges wont be too high.
I've certainly never seen anything like it yet for normal (non-Smart) Phones. Anyone know of something similar? |

Before you try this please be aware that most mobile phone service providers charge a small fortune for GPRS traffic, and it is easy to ramp up a large bill. at £2,50 per MB (or part of) its very costly, so if you are intending trying it make sure you have a GPRS connection monitor software package installed first. There was a recent post quoting over £12 for a single trip when the GPRS cost was totted up, spread this over 12 months and it could seriously cost your pocket. - Mike |
