Hi, could you tell what is the difference between the Speed camera database on the .com database (subscribed) and the .co.uk (free).
Many Thanks

The .co.uk one was the last Free database for January.
.com database is obtained via subscription and has all the updates. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Welcome to the forums Paul!
Thanks for your help George, much appreciated.
Please make sure that you always use the main site www.PocketGPSWorld.com and not a mirror site. Your browser needs to accept cookies from our site. There is an issue with cookies when you use a mixture of www.pocketgpsworld.com, pocketgpsworld.com (without the www) and the co.uk sites.
On Internet Explorer you can clear your cookies using Tools/Internet Options/Delete Cookies.
Some ISPs store (cache) web pages so they don't always update immediately. 'Hard' refresh subscription/download page by pressing 'Control' on your keyboard whilst pressing the refresh/reload button on your browser.
Actually, on the subject of cross-site cookies, I think MikeB may have partially addressed this today, but we are looking for a more permanent solution. MikeB and I are meeting with one of Google's main engineers (no less!) the week after next in Boston for advice on how to achieve an elegant solution with legacy sites and issues surrounding indexing.
The upshot of all this is that it is always advisable to use PocketGPSWorld.com to both navigate the site and download the database _________________ Robert Brady |
