I am totally confused. I have Tom Tom v5 on a PDA and Im not sure which files I need. I have the single loaded and that works but doesnt tell me what the speed of the camera is. If I want it to show that do I then need to DL the other two files for the consolidated file and the Speed zone complete? |

You need to download the speed zoned files, with the associated .bmp images to show the speed on your map. All explained at the bottom of this page. Select the link to the Beginners' Guide

Thats great thanks Iv sorted that now and it seems to be working. However I have another question. I have DL and set up the POIedit program so that I can auto update when Im in the office and my PDA is connected however it would appear that there arent all the files listed to update from that there are in the speed zones file. Where can I update the others from or must that be done manually? |

It is not possible at present to use the auto update feature of POI edit for the Pocket GPS Speed camera database. |

Using POIEdit will give you the last free Janauary data, which is now out of date of course. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Oh, Perhaps I might be being thick here (no answer needed) but why will it up date with the older files? Does that mean basically that the auto update facility done through POI Edit doesnt work then and so it must be done manually? |

It will update with the older files because the database use to be free, Since it has become subscription based the auto update does not work. |

The first time you use the new database I would suggest you delete all existing Safety Camera .ov2 and .bmp files.
Download the 46 files and drag and drop or cut and paste into your GB Map, then set up your alerts.
When the new database appears you need only to copy and paste the .ov2 files as the .bmp will be the same.
Well that's how I see it. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
