Transfer tom tom to laptop

If I load my laptop with my tom tom 5 CD and connect my Rikaline 6010 to it via a usb socket will it work ? I have used"Navigator Europe" on it in the past but it is not a patch on tom tom . I use my tom tom 5 .1 on my Ipaq 2210 PDA at the moment , but I thought it would make a good back up if anything went wrong . I have a silver shield amplified mount for my PDA which has been used about a dozen times the speaker in it has now packed in and the PDA volume is just not loud enough. what a waste of £36 notes.so I now have to buy another amplified mount .any sugestions what the best one is ? thanks

TomTom are not offering a PC version of their Navigator yet, even though we have frequently asked them to add that.
