Ive just purchased a i3, however when I try a postcode search the unit just shows and "egg timer" and the only way I can get rid of it is to take the batteries out. Doea this sound like a dud unit? or am I the dud by not doing something I should be.? |

First check how you should enter the postcode, your unit may require you to input without a space. e.g AB12CD not AB1 2CD. If you entered the space maybe, just maybe, that could have caused the problem. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

The i3 needs the space in the postcode to work, if you enter PR41AX it will not work PR4 1AX does work, I would try reseting your device, press and hold the two buttons and the scroll wheel, when prompted to erase all user data select yes, then reconfigure your settings and try it again, note this will wipe any data you have on the unit, if this fails I would sugest you return it for a replacement - Mike |
