Hi all, yet another (probably stupid) question for you!!!

I have downgraded from 2.82 back to 2.7 because I needed to use Custom POIs, all was working fine but I cannot search for Custom POI's for example if I go to the Makro group and Search for MAKRO READING the list does not change. This works fine for City searches but not Custom... Any ideas?

I have tried a Hard Reset and Reflashing but neither has helped (might also be worth mentioning that these steps haven't removed teh custom POIs either).

Custom POIs get converted into a (I think) single file for the i3 which I believe gets stored on the transflash card.

That's why a hard reset and / or firmware reflash doesn't erase them - just a possibility (in the case of going back to 2.70 firmware) that your favourites would get wiped.

As to the searching thing, could it be that the POI is not within the 50 or so that get shown - and you might have to select a point or location nearby, and then do a find nearby to find it?

Thanks. MaFt has just let me know that the Custom Point Search does not work anyway!!!
