As the Streetpilot C310 only comes with a 256mb sd card can I change it to a 1GB card?
What else would I need to get the files from the 256mb to the 1gb card? or is this not possible.

I only ask cos I've found 1GB sd cards for £16-£22

cant find any info on the garmin site..at that price why not try it and let the forum know the results...

I am using a 512 Kingston SD card in my C310 no problem.I just copied th original card to my pc and back to the new card.No problem

But why bother, unless you have the mapsource CD.
POIs are not stored on the Card only the maps which would almost have fit on 128Mb but for a few bytes. |
