assert failure in navman icn 520

Hello ppl!
I ve got big problem with not my gps navman icn 520:/
When I try to install map into gps and doing sth in software, I saw on the gps's screen this communicate:

"assert failure:
v1_17_0031\mapcore\src\mapdata\enmfile.c
line:186 test:os_exit() called"

I can't do anything, the buttons (on gps) isnt work.... on screen is only the photo with car's hood and that’s all...

Maybe new firmware can help? But where can I download it??

Pleas help me, because it’s my uncle’s friend gps

Welcome to the forums, just had a dig around and you need to insert the stylus into the reset hole on the top of the device (well thats where it is on my ICn510) it will be labeled Reset whereever it is try this link for confirmation http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=31094&highlight=assert+failure Mike
