Hello,

I´m new here, so forgive me any thing that isn´t ok in this message. Smile
I have a HP5550 and recently bought the BluetoothGPS Mini (the CD that came with it say Version 1.5).

My problem is that a can´t connect the PDA with the GPS, let me explain it better.

I turn the GPS on, and it starts a green light flashing (the manual says it get the satelites), then if i go to the PDA Bluetooth manager i can see the GPS device and i can connect to it (a blue light flashing appears in the GPS), but after 2 or 3 minutes it stops and if i see in the PDA, it is not connect, and allows me to connect again, and the same happen.

I have the TomTom in my PDA, but in TomTom it cannot detect the GPS even if i´m connected manually with the blue light flashing, i thought it could be from the TomTom software so i tried the software that came with the GPS in a CD and installed it in the PDA, it has a screen where it allows me to AutoScan for the GPS when i choose this, it appears a list of Bluetooth devices (only the GPS), i choose the GPS devide and then it appears a message saying connecting, but it stays like that more the 1,5 hour, after what i gave up. Sad

Can anyone help me with this situation? Did i missed doing something tha i should have done?

Thanks.
Pedro

The PDA might drop the Bluetooth connection if there is no application using the link. What com port do you have tomtom set to?
