Hello,
I am wondering if any of you have knowledge of any good POI websites with USA information? Also, I know the answer to this question already, but is there a program out there that allows you to change the map colors on the Nuvi? Thanks so much in advance!

Or switch to night view manually, which gives an exceptionally clear display, with the route very well highlighted. I agree, after using many Sat Navs over the past few years, the clarity of the "less clutter, clearer guidance" Nuvi mapping display is a real treat
One tip, after months of viewing with AutoZoom switched ON, I've changed to manual zoom, and leave it as a "comfortable" level, which not only makes up and coming roundabouts / junctions much more clearer, before they are signalled by the unit, but the moving display is much better too! |

Yes, you can leave it in Colour Mode Auto (it knows sunset and sunrise!) or switch manually to either - quite different - colour settings
Just click the Settings icon (top right) from the main menu, then Display (bottom right), then Colour Mode (first option), then Daytime, Nightime, or Auto as required
Enjoy |

This isn't possible on the Nuvi
However, the Nuvi's just announced for June will have interchangeable arrows (for Car icons, etc.) and this MAY be incorporated in to future Nuvi 300 / 350 firmware updates...?
Sorry |
