Nuvi - Text to voice ....

I have just bought a Nuvi 300 which I thought had text to voice guidance (as I believe the 350 has). The feature that gives voice guidance like "turn left on to ethelburga road" rather than simply "turn left".

Does anyone know how to enable this feature or is it only available on 350?
